Lunar Eclipse in India:observed mainly in eastern region Arunanchal Pradesh
The first lunar eclipse of the year will be witness in
the eastern parts of India, including the eastern Arunanchal Pradesh on
Saturday.
Some parts of Arunachal will witness the “Chandra
Grahan” lasting for four minutes 43 seconds after the moon rise. In some
places moon can be seen rising during the eclipse also.
West Bengal and Odisha can witness the partial eclipse around 5.50 pm and it will end around 7.14 pm in the evening.
The total lunar eclipse will start around 3.45 pm and
will last till 5.32 pm, with total at 5.27 pm. The celestial phenomenon
is different as it will be passing through earth shadow’s edge rather
than passing deep into the Earth shadow.
Western part of North America will have the best view of
the eclipse. Lunar eclipse can be witnessed in Australia, Indonesia,
Hawaii, New Zealand, Japan, and some eastern parts of
