Lenovo launched its latest Smartphone A5000.Rs 14,500
Lenovo has just launched the latest in its A-series of smartphones, A5000. The device has only been launched in Russia for now. It has also been spotted on the UAE site of the company. It has been priced at RUB 12,000 (roughly Rs.14,500). It is not known when the smartphone will hit other markets. At present, the only Lenovo A6000 and A7000 are available in the Indian market.
A
standout feature of the device is a large 4000mAh battery. According to the
official listing, the Lenovo A5000 will not support 4G LTE and will only
support 3G. It has also been said that its Quick Charge feature will charge the
phone fully in three hours, whereas a 15 minute charge will give it four hours
of talktime.
The
smartphone sports a 5-inch HD IPS display, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat
out-of-the-box. It is also powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and
1GB RAM. Other features include 8GB inbuilt storage, expandable upto 32GB via
microSD card, 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 2MP front camera.
Connectivity options will include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/
A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It has
been listed in the colors black and white.
