Astronomers have recently discovered an ancient solar system having five rocky planets. According to NASA, the system, called Kepler 444, is believed to have formed almost 11.2 billion years ago. The findings of the study appeared in The Astrophysical Journal.
Scientists after knowing the date of formation of this newly found system could say that it is the oldest group of terrestrial-sized planets known.
The latest discovery was made by the researchers at the University of Birmingham in England, using the data collected from NASa’s Kepler mission.
